" Really sorry for not giving you an update more quickly on this, but the units are now fitted and they work just fine! 5000K is absolutely the right config for the car and there were no issues. So to recap - car is an Audi RS6, 2004, with Bi-Xenon single HID units, standard factory stuff. The main beam additional lamps are indeed H7, so the ProKit H7 kit fitted fine. Contrary to what I thought earlier, there was no need for the 'Nissan-type' plastic adapter thing, as the bulbs are just straight replacements.

I completely forgot to take pictures, but please feel confident selling these kits to other RS6 owners!

I've just fitted a kit from Hids4U to replace the main and dipped beams on my BMW R1200GS. I opted to replace the original equipment rather than fit auxiliary lamps, to keep the costs down, make the installation simple and not to draw unwarranted attention to the motorbike. The results were even better than I'd hoped for!

The following morning the traffic, parted like the Red Sea!

The advice I had from Hids4u was spot-on and the quality of the kit is excellent. Having proven to myself the benefits of the HID system, I would have no hesitation in fitting similar kits to my cars and would go straight to Hids4u for advice.

I'll be posting a very positive message on the "GS Club of UK" forum. They tend to go for PIAA auxiliary lamps, but this solution was easier, quicker and less expensive with an excellent outcome.
HID Xenon lamps are still in a minority so do tend to stand out. This was also one of the reasons I decided to convert the original equipment rather than add auxiliary lamps.

There are no dash lights, no flicker, no unusual behaviour. The colour is much better - still definitely a HID, but less 'blue'. very impressed - the quality and construction of these kits seems to be far better than the first few goes.
